Description
Since being set up in 1972 for the preparation of the Munich Olympics, the Vittel Omnisports Preparation Centre (CPO) offers a unique sports platform in France in a setting of 650 hectares of greenery near the city center.
There, you can practice 40 different disciplines including 27 Olympics on more than 50 hectares of sports facilities. In our drive to allow sports to be practised by as many people as possible and in the most suitable conditions for performance, the CPO has seen and sees the renovation of a number of sports facilies, including the Pierre de Coubertin Center, creating a hypoxic and climatic space, which is increasingly sought after by athletes to optimize their physical and recovery capacities and, on the other hand, the rehabilitation and modernization of Vittel's sporting legacy.

The Omnisports Preparation Centre is a sporting village dedicated to the success of athletes in a privileged environment. The location unit, the privileged access to all sports facilities, the sports medical service and the Vittel SPA thermal establishment, make the CPO an ideal preparation site for the Games. It should also be noted that all athletes receive mineral Vittel water for training and that an experienced, friendly and passionate team about sports is at disposal to allow athletes and staff to focus primaraly on performance.

Known for
The CPO since 1972 has been the site of Olympic preparation courses (more than 150 delegations), preparation of football world cups (3 including Croatia in 1998 and Senegal in 2018) and each year the site hosts more than 4 000 athletes and national teams (FF Archery, FF basketball, FF table tennis, FF triathlon, etc.). Note that more than 60 medallists came to train in the sports facilities of the CPO. In terms of competition, the CPO regularly organizes national (archery, judo, athletics), international (European archery championship) championships and has hosted a stage of the Tour de France on 4 occasions.
