Description
The Centre Régional de Tir à l’Arc (CRTA) of Riom Limagne et Volcans is an exclusively dedicated to archery community equipment. It hosts practitioners for leisure, competition or initiation (schools).
CRTA includes:
- 18 indoor shooting areas (18 and 25 m)
- 4 external shooting areas under canopy with heating
- 54 external shooting areas (20, 30, 50 and 70 m), provided extension of 26 additional
- 2 cloakrooms
- 6 showers
- anti-doping room
- infirmary

Located near highways (Paris at 4, Montpellier at 3:30, Lyon at 2, Bordeaux at 3:45), railway and airport of Clermont-Ferrand, CRTA deals a strategic place in the center of France in an exceptional environmental (Auvergne Volcanoes ; Chaîne des Puys, labeled UNESCO). Located in Riom (town of Art and History, ex capital of Auvergne), and next to Volvic, it has the heritage and cultural richness of its territory.
