Description
The Jean Jaurès dojo is exclusively dedicated to martial arts and especially judo.
It is located in a quiet area in an impasse. It is composed of a large room reserved for judo, a small weightlifting room and a storage room.
This equipment has a dojo with a tatami measuring 29m by 14m or 406m ² of surface. The tatami present in 2024 is approved by the International Judo Federation (IJF).
Punching bags are distributed in the dojo, an area is already reserved and delimited for cardio work. An additional stock of tatami is available on the site as well as a dozen DIMA mats.
A wall-mounted timer is installed in the dojo, which allows for the programming of split exercises.
The dojo is also located less than 300m from a train station in the direction of Paris.
Special features
A dojo with a surface area of 406m² is rare in Île-de-France. In addition, a motorized separation curtain is in the middle so as to have 2 areas of 200m² for differentiated work.
This dojo is ideal for a preparation for a big event. It is equipped for judo with 4 ropes at your disposal and a small weightlifting room inside the complex.
Specialized material for physical preparation for judo is stored in this equipment such as wave ropes, Uchi-Komi ropes, heavy bags...
Known for
The dojo's user association is "Judo Club Moissy-Cramayel". The club is regularly qualified in the 2nd division of the French Judo Federation in men's and women's team competition.
In fact, they finished 3rd in the men's championship in 2018.
The association is a training club, the teachers have brought young people in ‘‘pôle France espoir’’. Judokas regularly qualify for the elite French championships.
A particular link has been created with the PSG judo because the 2 main coaches have trained for many years at the Judo Club of Moissy-Cramayel.
