Description

The Etoile Sports Center is a multi-purpose sports building with a total area of 4,850 m2. Located in the heart of the city and adjacent to the SNCF train station, it is open to schools and associations for teaching gymnastics and table tennis.

The characteristics of the gymnastics hall are as follows:

1 national-level gymnastics hall of 1000 m2

2 grandstands with a total capacity of 800 seats

3 changing rooms

associative premises including 1 dance hall

1 club house

1 babygym room with its changing room

The characteristics of the table tennis hall are as follows:

1 table tennis room of 1,100 m2

associative premises

1 grandstand of 400 places

2 changing rooms

1 club house

Special features

The Etoile sports area can be used by a single discipline in its entirety to host large-scale competitions or courses. Thus each of the two rooms can be configured for additional installations of table tennis or gymnastic equipment in order to ofer a larger sports surface adapted to the needs.

All premises are accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Known for

In November 2021, the table tennis hall hosted the French youth championships in the junior category. An international tournament is also organized annually.
