Description

The facility is located in Trappes, a city within 30 km of Paris, with a population of 33,000 inhabitants. Trappes is part of the local aggregation “SQY” which is set to host six events during the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Special features

The hall dedicated to Gymnastics has a total surface area of 960 sqm. It can accommodate all of the sports concerned, with 2 to 4 apparatuses per activity, a pit with a stretched tarpaulin and foam cubes for safe reception work, as a dynamic mat - this is currently covered with a tarpaulin to meet with the anti-COVID measures.

Known for

The Gymnastics Club Trappes (GCT) is the usual resident of the site. 252 members (218 girls & 34 boys) are supervised by 19 volunteers. The GCT organised of the championship of France FFGT in 1999.
