Description

The artificial pitches are regularly used for training by the University’s Women’s Rugby team, who are French university champions. The facilities will also host the World University Rugby Invitational Tournament (the WURIT) in 2023 during the 2023 rugby world cup. Moreover, the University of Bordeaux has set up a partnership with two Top 14 professional rugby clubs - the Union Bègles Bordeaux and the Sporting Union Agenais - allowing these high-level clubs to use the facilities in a high performance dynamic.
