Vendée Grand Littoral Gymnatics Hall

Description

The « Vendée Grand Littoral » SPORTS COMPLEX is a brand new facility since it is due to open in Septembre 2021. It is built on two levels. The 1143 m² sports hall is on the ground floor along with a 74m² locker rooms and a 84 m² outbuilding. On the first floor of the building 250 spectators will be able to attend the competitions in the grandstand. The Main Sports Hall is Linked to another 1156 m² sports hall and surrounded by other sports facilities (tennis fields, football fields, athletics track). The architecture is sobre and modern (harmonious volumes, wood cladding, …) but its particularity lies in the choice of materials and equipments to be as sustainable as possible (solar pannels, wood-pellet fueled boiler, double flow mechanical ventilation…).
