Velodrome BMX Track

Description

Located in the centre of the velodrome, the track will be v-shaped and approximately 370 metres long. Its specifications will meet those required for international classification and approval for competitions. It will have a 5-metre starting hill; four straights, one of which is split; three banked turns, and lighting for winter or evening practice. The track will benefit from the velodrome’s facilities, including the lighting and use of a building currently under construction, which will house changing rooms, washroom facilities, and an auditorium. Its proximity to the sports hall and the stadium will also be a plus. The circuit will be located in a natural, wooded, and landscaped environment. The track is scheduled to become operational in 2022.
