Troyes Gymnasium

Description

The “Salle Omnisports” has proved its ability to successfully collaborate with and host major international events during its recent involvement in organising a preparation event for the World Athletics championship to be held later in Stuttgart. An international gymnastics meeting took place on the 5th of July 2019, involving men's artistic gymnastics teams from France, Turkey and Germany competing at the Salle Omnisports, in Troyes. This structure was inaugurated in 1969 and was restored in 2019. It includes 5 halls: dance, martial arts, judo, weightlifting and a large multisport hall. The international gymnastics competition took place in this latter, equipped with all the gym apparatus according to FIG standards. With a useable 1,055 m² area, the hall is equipped with 1,244-tiered seats to accommodate the viewing public.
