Matemale lake

Description

The Matemale lake is in a magnificent natural setting and is an ideal site for water sports, in particular canoe and kayak sprint. It lies at an altitude of 1,541 m, covers an area of 223 ha, is 2,25 km long and has a depth of 37 m. The lake has the necessary facilities for canoeing and kayaking (pontoons, lanes, etc.) and is located near to a sport center with swimmingpool, sauna, fitness room, stadium and gymnasium. The lake is ideally located 20 minutes by car from the CNEA, which means that associated services are available which can include weight training and conditioning areas, a recovery area, a hypoxia area, the medical centre, and also meeting and video analysis rooms.
