“Puy Marmont” equestrian stadium is composed of five arenas (two made of Fontainebleau silica sands), 2 indoor arenas, a lunging ring, an Havrincourt ring, but also 170 permanent stalls. The “Haras National de Pompadour” is an ideal site for eventing. Two major events organized there are the “Grand National Pro Elite” and the “Grande Semaine”. Pompadour’s racecourse, indexed 1st class hunt races category and 2nd class flat races category, is known as one of the most beautiful racecourses in France. Atypical and spectacular, cross-country races really spark professionals and visitors' interest. Pompadour’s racecourse is also famous for its eventing courses as it welcomes up to professional and national competitions. The 2200-yard natural sand track suits both race horses and sport horses in their physical training.
