Sports hall

Description

The sports hall is the nerve center of sports practice in Épinal. The site has an innovative architecture with metal beams which have made it possible to develop a play surface without structural posts. It welcomes 800 to 1000 practitioners per day: schools, colleges, high schools and associations attend the sports hall throughout the year. The main hall with an area of ​​2,800 m2 is divided into 3 distinct activity areas: an athletics area with 5 lanes of 60 meters, pole vault, long jump and triple jump; a team sports area (1,200 m²) and a multisport area. Within the floors, specific and permanent rooms have been allocated to three sports: table tennis, archery and fencing. The 400 m² weapons room dedicated to fencing has 8 tracks all equipped with individual markers.
