Allier Lake
Description
Vichy, hot spot for rowing in France and internationally, is known for regularly holding prestigious regattas, and has also hosted major events in canoeing and kayaking, open water swimming and triathlon. The fact of having organised these long-standing competitions, as well as the training programmes of European clubs and national teams, reveals Vichy's know-how in nautical racing disciplines. The 4,000m training lake is calm and possesses a 2,300m race course fully equipped with a specific embarkation point, finish line tower, Albano buoys. The site allows the crew to be followed on the water or by bicycle, using tracks along the bank that were fully renovated in 2019. The health and performance hub completes the offer for physical preparation (including numerous rowing machines), recuperation and health.
