Description
Located in Charleville-Mézières, the center includes a sports facility dedicated to the practice of basketball : the Arena. A true place of sporting excellence, it offers optimal conditions for training. Open 7 days a week, the facility is 10 minutes away from the city center and benefits from close access to Paris. The Arena has a play area that complies with FIBA standards. The Arena is equipped with disabled access, a lift, and the site is secure.
The city of Charleville-Mézières is able to provide sports delegations with a mini-bus for travel and to offer à la carte on-site catering.

Special features
The Arena is considered as the pro basketball lair in Charleville-Mézières. This high-level sports facility regularly hosts the matches of the professional carolomacériens clubs, namely l’Étoile de Charleville-Mézières and the Flammes Carolo Basket Ardennes. The Arena is equipped with four grandstands including a retractable one, changing rooms, gym and press rooms, administrative and sports offices and reception areas.
Known for
The Arena has hosted Euroleague and Eurocup matches, and also a qualifying match for the European Women’s Basketball Championship.
It is the training ground for local clubs : the Flammes Carolo Basket Ardennes (FCBA) and the Etoile de Charleville-Mézières Ardennes (ECMA).
The FCBA plays in the Women’s Basketball League in France and ECMA in the Men’s National 2.
