Description
Our Jacques VASSET Boxing Hall is nestled in a site classified as “historic buildings” of the city, away from prying eyes, ensuring full tranquility for athletes.
Entirely dedicated to the sports practice of Boxing, Its useful surface of 500m2 is an ideal place to train. It offers optimal conditions for the preparation of athletes.
It’s also equipped with a central video projection and has all the technical equipment necessary for technical combos boxers (punching bags, speed pears, medicine ball, wall clock ...).
A competition Boxing ring can be installed in the center of the room . Two other elevated workouts boxing rings complete the set.
Special features
Integrated into the boxing gym, you will find a fully equipped weight room (cardio trainning on treadmill, bike, or rowing machine, muscle building, weight bench, half-rack squat cage …).
Finally, if necessary, professional boxers can serve as a sparring partner for your delegation.
In addition to the 500m2 of floor space, two sports halls are available nearby: a team sports hall, a fencing hall, a climbing wall and a dojo to complete the preparation of athletes.
The immediate proximity of the national forest of Compiègne (15,000 ha), the third largest in France, allows athletes to take advantage of an ideal setting to complete their physical and mental preparation along marked paths or in complete autonomy.
Known for
In the 1980s, Farid Berredjeb, a member of the ROC, a local club created in 1961, was crowned vice champion of Europe twice (in Compiègne and Liverpool).
Today, the Ring Olympique Compiégnois is a boxing club with more than 400 licensees (profesisonal boxing, free and amateur boxing, educationnal boxing, handi-boxing, fit boxing, …) and being part of professional clubs training center, approved by the Ministry of Women's Rights, the City, Youth and Sports.
This club has seen a recent evolution thanks to the arrival of many women.
