Description
Located in Charleville-Mézières, the center includes a sports facility dedicated to the practise of table tennis : the salle Reine Bestel. A true place of sporting excellence, it offers optimal conditions for training. Open 7 days a week, the facility is 10 minutes away from the city center and benefits from a close access to Paris. The salle Reine Bestel has a playing area of 24 tables for training and 16 tables for competition. The facility is equipped with disabled access, a lift and the site is secure.
The city of Charleville-Mézières is able to provide sports delegations with a mini-bus for travel and to offer à la carte on-site catering.

The salle Reine Bestel is situated in a natural setting with a nature reserve nearby and a green lane along the Meuse river.
It is specific to the practise of table tennis and includes various complementary options : a parking lot, a disabled access, a lift, a WI-FI connection, a fitness room, a meeting room, a storage area, a refreshment bar with a fridge and hot plates for on-site catering and bleachers. The salle Reine Bestel is also located 300 meters away from a supermarket.

The salle Reine Bestel has hosted two French national table tennis Championships and welcomes the annual Grand-Est region International Youth Championships.
It is the training place of the local club : the Charleville-Mézières Ardennes Tennis de Table (CMATT) with a team playing in National 1. The CMATT is the second largest club in the Grand-Est region in terms of members (160). It is also the club of the young French hopeful, Myshaal Sabhi, 3rd junior, vice-champion of Europe (under-15) and member of one of the largest International Olympic and Paralympic training centers, the INSEP.
