Description

The location of the ‘Grand Parquet’ shows all of its advantages over 26 hectares of enclosed space, in the heart of Fontainebleau Forest!

The A6, A5 and A77 motorways facilitate access to the ‘Grand Parquet’. Quick access to Paris (60km from the Porte d’Orléans), and served by the Fontainebleau/Avon train station, 25 km from the Villaroche airport, and Parisian airport.

- 2 competition tracks to Olympic standard equipped with capillary irrigation (dimensions : 100m x 80m)

- 3 arenas with fibred sand surface of 3 600m², 4 000 m² et 5 000m²

Known for

1924 Olympic Games : after le Summer Olympic Games in Paris, the Grand Parquet hosts the equestrian event of the Modern Pentathlon as well as a grand championship of the world’s best jumpers.

From 1950 onwards, the French Championships are held at the Grand Parquet.

1971 : HRH Princess Anne participates in a 3 Day Event
