Description
Built in 1964 and completely renovated in 2014, the Stade Nautique offers a wide range of activities ranging from learning to swim to competition and wellness activities. This aquatic complex offers a large pool area and can host national level events. It has :
On the outside, of a heated Nordic basin of 8 corridors of 50m , likely to be separated by a mobile wall on its half (16 X 25m), of a pentagliss (water slide) in the open air associated with a solarium,
Inside, a learning pool of a maximum depth of 1.40m completed by a playful pool (bubble seat, water jets, river against the current, three corridors of 20m) and a wellness area consisting of 3 jacuzzis, 2 hammams and 2 saunas,
The installation is completed by 54 individual changing rooms, 8 collective changing rooms, 1 meeting room, 1 weight room, 1 tier of 400 seats facing the Nordic basin, 2 car parks of 40 and 150 places.
This aquatic centre is ideally located near Pau town centre and in a quiet residential area with trees facing the Pyrenees.

Special features
The pools are made of stainless steel which provide comfort for swimmers and are all accessible all year round including the 50m outdoor pool.
A launching device for People with Reduced Mobility is installed in each pool and jacuzzi.
Possibility of using a physical preparation area located near the outdoor pool.
