The Lake of Laprade Basse is situated in France in the Occitanie region, in the Aude province on the villages of Cuxac Cabardès and Les Martys. It’s a unique site for water sports and particularly triathlon. It sprades on 98 Ha in the wild landscape of the Black Moutain, a preserved forest territory, criss crossed by many pedestrian lanes and quiet rural roads.

You can access the site in 30 min by car using the D118 road from Carcassonne, city of world renown, part of the UNESCO world heritage for her medieval city and the Canal du Midi. You arrive to Carcassonne from Toulouse (100Km), Montpellier (150Km) or Spain (frontier is at 135km direction Barcelon) by highway or by the local airport of Carcassonne-Salvaza (regular lines to London, Brussels and Porto).

Características especiales de este centro

A training site in a quite natural landscape, at 770 meters of altitude, in a fresher weather in the heat of summer.

Accomodations are available for delegations in Black Mountain Camp (https://www.black-mountain-camps.fr/ ) in Cuxac Cabardès proposing various services and a space for collective catering.

Easy access to the lake with free parking very next to it.

Public works are under way to propose on the shore of the lake : toilettes, resting space, collective catering and a un pontoon for better water access.
