Description

The sports hall and the Viviani gymnasium, located a few hundred meters apart, are the nerve center of indoor sports activity in Épinal. These two facilities accommodate around 8,000 practitioners per week in very different disciplines.

The sports hall, rebuilt in 1999-2000 and whose architecture is unique and functional, has multiple spaces allowing the practice of many disciplines, including fencing. The Spinalian Fencing Society has a dedicated room, the surface area and level of technological equipment of which have recently been further extended.

As for the Viviani gymnasium, where volleyball and hand are practiced as well as gymnastics, it is also a very well equipped site. The gymnastics hall regularly hosts major competitions and now has a floor area corresponding to international standards.
